Resistance to staining

Silestone is a non-porous surface that is highly resistant to staining caused by coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar, makeup and many other products that are used everyday.

Resistance to scratching

While care must be taken when using sharp knives on other kitchen tops such as granite or laminate, Silestone is very resistant to scratching. Silestone is highly resistant to scratching, but should not be subjected to extreme rough treatment.

The quartz in Silestone makes it naturally scratch-resistant thanks to the 93% of Quartz content. Unlike granite, Silestone does not need to be sealed to keep its lustrous shine.
